Day 1: Puno – Islands de los Uros – Island de Amantani
We started our tour with the pick up from hotel and transfer to the port of Puno to take a boat tour to engine and move toward the wonders floating islands of Uros. Despite the time today remain living in islands of totora, known as the tribe have to build their own Islands regularly, adding new layers of «Totora
Their homes and boats are made of the same material. After the visit we will continue the tour of approximately two hours to the Island of Amantani. This island is inhabited by quechua-speaking natives still governed by their ancient traditions and customs, whose main tourist activity is the production of ceramics and textiles.The positive energy of this island is so powerful that it is known as the «Island of Love». Arriving to the island enjoy an exquisite typical lunch, then we headed to the ceremonial centers «Pachatata» and «Pachamama», divine temples in the Andean region. In the evening we will be staying in the homes of families enjoying the hospitality of a typical Amantani home.
Day 2: Island de Amantani – Island de Taquile – Puno
After breakfast, we will depart with destination to the Island of Taquile, place where we will appreciate the typical form of experience, picturesque, rustic, and landscape, where you can still maintain their customs, traditions, rituals, and religious and folk. Also inhabited by people of the Quechua-speaking area who have developed an efficient and unique social system, In the village of Taquile can enjoy a typical lunch based on fresh fish pejerrey (cost of $6 additional). In the afternoon we return to the city of Puno.
